Seasoned Guides for all Seasons: The key to great fly fishing for trout on the San Juan river in New Mexico is fishing with the right guide. And Resolution has them! As owner and head guide, I spend the bulk of my time on the San Juan river with clients and I tend to be as picky as a brown trout when it comes to the guides that work with me.

Our guides are dedicated fly fishers, rowers, and tiers. All the guides have in-depth, first-hand knowledge on the San Juan river, its trout, its hatches, and its seasons. But perhaps most importantly, our guides are fun people to be with and are excellent teachers. Most everyone who fishes with Resolution, beginner or expert, learns something: basic fly fishing skills, new fly fishing techniques, or maybe just a bit of San Juan or New Mexico history.

Regardless of season, water conditions, or hatches, our guides will give you the best opportunity to hook up with big trout while fly fishing the San Juan river in New Mexico. Prices include: All flies, tippet, leader ,weights, indicators, a great streamside lunch, beverages and rods/reels or waders if you need them. Prices don't include: NM fishing license, 6.06% gross receipts tax, or gratuity. Reservation and cancellation policies: A deposit of 30% is required for all lodging or package stays. $100 per guide, per day for guided only trips. Your deposit is refunded only if your trip is canceled 60 days prior to arrival day, no-shows will be charged the full amount. Parties arriving with less guests than booked for will also be charged the full amount.

All packages include dinner on evening of arrival, all meals during your stay, and breakfast on morning of departure. Airport shuttles are available, round trip fee is $200 from Farmington, NM or Durango, CO (price is per auto used for the shuttle not per person). All inclusive Package plans include full days of guided fishing on the San Juan River. You'll get a full suite for every 1-4 persons that includes: Two bedrooms, large bath, four beds as well as the large living room with couches satellite TV, wireless internet and recliner chairs. Guided trips include all flies, tippet, leaders, sinkers and rods and reels if needed. LL Bean breathable waders are also available. Or let us put a package together that works best for you! We offer many custom packages that include everything from a day off from fishing to sight see, or even a day to play golf at Pinion Hills (rated one of the top 3 public courses in America, and only 30 minutes from our lodge).
