Piedra Creek: This river is one of the easiest to access in the areas that we guide near Pagosa. It is also one of the prettiest rivers I have ever fished. Open meadows, deep dark alpine forest all set in one of the most beautiful valleys in the area. 10,000-foot peaks surround you as you're on the hunt for brook, browns and a few cut bows. The trout are eager on dry flies and rise well all summer. If you are willing to hike for a little bit you'll get away from the water that other people fish and find willing fish in wonderful soundings. Fish on the Piedra are 8-12" and willing, it is also one of the shorter drives from our Lodge and just a short jump form Pagosa Springs. Dry fly-fishing at its very best in a high country setting.

Prices include: Leaders, tippet, weights, indicators, and a great streamside lunch on full days, full and half days include drinks. Float trips also include the use of private land we lease for both put in and take outs, as well as wade fishing access and lunch stopping spots. Prices don't include: CO fishing license, gratuity or flies (you will only be changed for flies lost and or used). Click here for winter rates Reservation and cancellation policies: A deposit of 30% is required for all lodging or package stays. $100 per guide, per day for guided only trips. Your deposit is refunded only if your trip is canceled 60 days prior to arrival day, no-shows will be charged the full amount. Parties arriving with less guests than booked for will also be charged the full amount.
